First time I went to Taiwan was in July 2024. It was the height of summer so humid and even though we had a great time, there were some activities which we put off because it would entail being outdoors, climbing stairs and well you get the idea.
So I suggested to sister dearest, we explore Taipei once again but during the winter months. November 2024 when we were choosing destinations to visit during my month long stay here in Hong Kong, Taipei came up.
January 13 - 18, 2025, we had the best time in Taipei, Taiwan. Temperatures ranged from 11 to 19 Celsius degrees, so cold (for me!) but lovely too. We stayed at the same hotel in the Daan district, rode a cable car, booked a tour, visited Catholic churches, temples, a zoo and natural hot springs, even did some shopping. Of course we ate everything from the famous beef noodles soup, Din Tai Fung, hot pot, street food to soymilk breakfast.
Will do more extensive posts when I go back home.
For now, enjoy these snapshots.
