The Venetian, Macau (December 22, 2012)

I guess it is a given that we make a side trip to Macau whenever we are in HK. After all, it is simply an hour ferry ride from Hong Kong island.

This time though, my sister booked a suite for us to spend the night at The Venetian.  By this time, my mother had developed a nasty cough but since everything had been booked we went ahead with the trip.  So she spent it sleeping in our fancy suite.

The suite located on the 27th floor had a great view of Macau.

While my parents were resting in the suite, D went off to meet up with his relatives who work in Macau.  So my sister and I explored The Venetian which is quite massive, our feet hurt from walking all over and discovering its nook and crannies.

Yes that's what my cousin who is based in California told me when she saw the pictures from The Venetian Macau.

That's a lovely hotel. I hope I can visit it too in the near future.

I recommend it Rach. Great location, good facilities and amenities and quite a tourist attraction itself.
